Reading your posts on the Capital. Quite humorous. Washington is not in the center of our country either. It has no port but lots of shopping malls.  In my opinion, it is nice to send our representative politicians there most of the year and as far from home as possible. Washington was a city created out of a swamp precisely because it WAS in the center of the country. The Capital was never moved to Iowa because a) it would be stupidly expensive and b) there is no good reason. |
