We arrived from the UK on Friday 12th Sept and took the Dollar shuttle to pick-up the minivan. We headed straight of Buffalo Bills at Primm for the expensive weekend rate of $65. The party consisted of me, my Mother, Sister, Brother in Law and neice (21 on the following Tuesday). We have made 6-10 trips to LV over the last 8 years (sometimes as 2day stopovers on other trips) so we know our way around. After settling in we just went to the food court and between us we were able to get McDonalds, fish and chips, petza?, chicken sandwich and chinese.  We were 8hours ahead of everyone else so with jet-lag we turned in early. On Saturday we were up bright and early. The buffett does not open until *am and the coffee shop was just opening at 7am but some in the party did not want to bother. The place where we got the sandwich does not open for breakfast, We had a McDonalds breakfast. With the Monorail not starting until 9am we walked over to Primm Valley. We found out later it starts at 8am on Saturday so if we had waited 5min..... The main aim of staying at Primm was visiting the shopping Mall - which opens at 10am. So we did some window shopping then went to the Primm Valley cafe for a coffee at the counter. At 9:30 I left them to wander on my own. I took the monorail to Whiskey Petes on the other side of the I-15.  I was surprised to fimd they have a nice pool area. Some rooms on a two story extension overlook the free-form pool with waterfall and waterslide feature but it is not too enclosed but not a large area. Buffalo Bills pool is in the shape of a buffalo with a larger area for loungers but surrounded by the hotel blocks. Some landscaping but still a bit stark. Both have jacuzzas? Whiskey Petes has a buffet, coffee shop and McDonalds. I watched a bit of football on the big screen of the sports book. I played a few slots and had a few drinks from the cocktail waitresses. I went to find them in the Mall and took some bags back to the rooms. Pool getting busy - well to busy for me to lap swim across the buffalo's back! Went back to the Mall to the food court there (Subway, chinese, japanese, hotdogs, steak sandwiches, Mrs Fields and TRBY?) and had something with them. The Mall is a bit of a desert for me. The new 'magazine shop' has internet at 5dollars for 30min but I had just left home. The 'Music for Less' has gone so even less non-clothes shops. The girls spent 7-8 hours there! I played some more slots then went to watch _base_ball. The pool (being Saturday) was still busy. Each casino had two Megabucks machines and the range of Wheel of Fortune (which I find brutal!). Otherwise there are few progressives. I played some 5 and 10 times pay quarter machines.  I have a Primmadonna slot club card valid at all 3 casinos but not tied in with any LV casino. 10dollars play per point and points stay on your card as long as you play again within 2years. I now have 50points for a buffet meal, movie ticket, a beach towel or a T shirt. A midweek room is 75points. Points can be used for ride tickets at Buffalo Bills. On the Sunday we moved to Imperial Palace. In case you do not read Part Two - We went to the new LV Premium Outlet and it may be we do not stay or make a special trip to Primm for the Mall. Wish I had used my slot club points!
