I am using a Deskjet 693c to print photos modified by PhotoShop 4.0. PS4 of course always prints the image in the center of the paper regardless of image size. I tried to fool the printer by telling it the paper was a 4x6 card so that I could print 4x5 images without wasting the paper. This partially worked but still left a 1 inch margin on the left side. I guess I could make a new page and place four photos on it and then print it as an 8x10, but I prefer to print them one at a time. Photoshop suggests using PageMaker to position images. Is there a less expensive solution? Thanks- Ted

Any DTP/page layout or good word processing program will allow you to do that, Ted.  I happily used Ami Pro for a long time before buying PM and PS. I still use Ami for word processing but have switched entirely to PM for page layout. I love Adobe products. In any case, use whatever you have: Word, WordImperfect, PagePlus... .

Is there a less expensive solution? Sure: any word processor should work, as long as it can accept the image format you're using.
